Happy 100th birthday, Bob!

  1. Saw Creeley read at Bowling Green State in Fall 1964. He was at a desk with one of those old half lecterns that had a mic attached that was broken and hanging down behind. He got behind the lectern and said wow, this is great. I feel like an old Greek poet reading from the ether. I was 18 years old and never forgot how he hung behind the lectern to read his poetry.
