Arthur writes:
“At the time I was working with Al Poulin on getting portraits for his poetry anthology for Houghton Mifflin. The photos of Allen and many other poets who were at The Writers Forum at the SUNY campus at Brockport were for inclusion in the next edition of Al Poulin’s Contemporary American Poetry. Allen and Peter Orlovsky attended and the photos were captured in the two days they were at the event. I had the wonderful opportunity to talk with and photograph them.
