The dual-language Russian edition of Howl, Kaddish & Other Poems (we first reported on its initial Russian publication – here) sure is one delightful presentation.
The new book, from publishers Komplekt/Podpisnie in St Petersburg, deftly translated by Dmitry Manin and with an introduction and commentary by Dmitry Khaustov) builds upon the original with the inclusion of several gorgeous full-color illustrations by Nikita Zatvornik (we’ll be featuring some of them here in the days to come)
The book, Вопль. Кадиш. Стих–отворения 1952-1960, is, posthumously, a dream-come-true for Allen. Finally, these poems appearing in the language of his maternal homeland, the Russia of Dostoevsky, of Esenin, of Akmatova, of Mayakovsky
So his remarkable “Howl” begins:

The print-run is 2,500. Like Material Wealth, for any serious Ginsberg collector, this is a must-have.
