Mind Writing Slogans – (we’ve written about it, (about the first edition) – here)
Brad O’Sullivan’s Spring 2011 letterpress class took on an unprecedented collaborative project – to letterpress print an entire chapbook in one semester. The chosen text was Mind Writing Slogans, a collection of inspired and inspiring quotes Ginsberg compiled as a guide to “writing the mind.” Previously out of print since 1994, this second edition was printed with permission from the Ginsberg Estate and ran in an edition of 500 copies. It features a new foreword by Anne Waldman.
Speaking of Anne Waldman, she was the recipient the first JKS Leadership Commemorative Broadside (conceived as a series), created in the Harry Smith Print Shop back in 2015. See here:
