It’s Anne Waldman’s birthday today.

Most recently, we’ve featured her intro to the Beat Outsider art show – “Beat Art Work -Power of The Gaze” 
and her intro to Pat Thomas’ archival compendium,  Material Wealth – Mining The Personal Archive of Allen Ginsberg 

Her performance of Allen’s “Pentagon Exorcism” (the track included on the Fall of America –  tribute volume II) may be viewed here

Anne’s most recent major collection, Bard, Kinetic – “a multifaceted portrait of her life and praxis as a groundbreaking poet” (including invaluable autobiographical recollection) came out in January of last year and is essential reading
