Ai Weiwei has another memoir out, but this time it’s a graphic one, manga, in collaboration with with co-writer Elettra Stamboulis and illustrator Gianluca Costantini – Zodiac (out from Penguin-Random House this Tuesday) – “This beautifully illustrated and deeply philosophical graphic memoir explores the connection between artistic expression and intellectual freedom through the lens of the Chinese zodiac”
I was just considering the zodiac signs the other day and was to be only left wondering if it (traditional astrology like US) if it is mostly based on a scheme of stars and planets and their relationships to the sun and more tropical types of locations like the Mediterranean and the Caribbean Sea.
