Japanese poet Kobayashi Issa, also known as Kobayashi Yataro and Kobayashi Nobuyuki, was born in Kashiwabara, Shinanao province June 15, 1763
Japanese poet and our fondly-remembered friend, the wonderful Nanao Sakaki is celebrating his Centennial this year
and so it seemed a natural thing to combine them in a feature today.
