It’s an annual ritual here on The Allen Ginsberg Project – checking in with the kousa dogwood tree, planted in Allen’s honor, in New York, on the Lower East Side, in the churchyard at St Mark’s-in-the-Bowery, home of The Poetry Project. It’s scheduled to flower each year around the time of his birth.
Forever in our memory.
Allen would have been ninety-six tomorrow.
