Currently up at the Har-El Gallery, Jaffa, Israel (until the end of the month), an exhibition of work by Israeli artist Moshe Gershuni (1936-2017), “Time of Heavenly Mercy”, including his 1997 artist’s book, Kaddish, printed with Allen’s text in both English and Hebrew, (the Hebrew, the 1988 translation by Nathan Zach, made in collaboration with the author) Gershuni’s exquisite prints, printed on gold-leaf, are quite simply breath-taking.
