Legendary poet musician and pioneering marijuana activist John Sinclair turns 80 tomorrow

Come celebrate with John and friends at his 80th Birthday Party And Intergalactic Broadcast, broadcasting live out of the Genesee County Compassion Club, Flint, Michigan  on the John Sinclair Radio Show on his flagship station, Radio Free Amsterdam  (4- 8 pm EDT  (9-1 pm GMT – 10-2pm CET))

Tomorrow (October 2) at noon in San Francisco, in his beloved North Beach, a memorial for the late great Jack Hirschman.  “Meet at Specs’ at noon, and join the second line procession to Caffe Trieste, then onward to Washington Square Park for poetry and music” –  It promises to be a great local event – a great international event –  A glorious “Celebration of A Poet”

& don’t miss Agneta Falk, his widow, and Kim Shuck, San Francisco’s seventh Poet Laureate (Jack was the fourth), on their memories of Jack – here
