Shocking and disturbing news, Hal Willner, record producer, (producer of Allen’s legendary recordings, Holy Soul Jelly Roll, 1989’s The Lion For Real), producer of a remarkable and extraordinary range of visionary eclectic extraordinary spoken-word and music (and spoken-word-and-music) died today, from complications from the coronavirus, one day after celebrating his 64th birthday.
