News reaches us this morning of the passing of psychedelic pioneer, spiritual teacher, and Allen’s long-time counter-culture cohort, Ram Dass (Richard Alpert). He died “peacefully at his home in Maui yesterday, surrounded by loved ones,” according to his official Instagram account. He was 88.
