AG; Vysotsky was their great singer-poet, like (Bob) Dylan, a good poet.
GC: Recent?
AG: He died in 1980 at the age of 42 – drink..
GC: Oh, I didn’t know that one
AG: …and everybody in Russia loved him.
GC: See, we didn’t know him in America. We knew just Andrei (Voznesensky) and Yvegeny (Yevtushenko)
AG: They were the ones that the Russians let out.
GC: Well, yeah, (so) we didn’t know them then..
