There will be a memorial and celebration of anti-war activist David McReynolds (who died this past August) tomorrow, at the Judson Memorial Church in New York, from 12 to 3.

McReynolds, alongside his tireless work in social activism was also a gifted photographer

Abbie Hoffman was born on this day, November 30 1936, (that would have made him 82 – Wow!)

William Blake’s birthday took place this week.  Stuart Mitchner in Town Topics, the weekly community newspaper at Princeton – on the Ginsberg-Blake connection (not forgetting, Patti Smith) –  “Encountering Patti Smith and Allen Ginsberg on William Blake’s birthday”
